nGéadal is wounding, and the kennings put it plainly: harm, and the economy that grows around harm. September asks you to look at where damage in your situation has become somebody's livelihood or somebody's habit. That sounds dramatic and is usually mundane. A process that only exists because something keeps going wrong. A role that depends on the problem continuing. A grievance that has become a way of relating. The rune is not asking for blame. It is asking whether the injury is still being treated or has quietly become the arrangement, and September is when that question can be answered without anybody losing face.
