Elder Futhark
Hagalaz is hail, and all three rune poems call it a grain: something that falls where the crop grows, looks like the crop, and flattens it. Somewhere in these seven days a disruption arrives that you did not plan, did not cause and could not reasonably have priced in. The rune is unusually clear that this is not a verdict on you. It is weather. The Old English stanza adds that afterwards the hail turns to water, and that clause is the useful half of the week. Expect the damage to be real and brief. Spend the first day after it on what actually broke rather than on why it happened. Then give the remaining days back to ordinary work, because the field is usually workable again sooner than it feels from inside the storm.
