Ogham
Úr is úir, soil, the ground that takes what is buried and grows what comes next, and the kennings call it the shroud of a lifeless body. On a day scale it is a small burial. Something ends today and goes into the ground quietly, without a ceremony, and the ground is where it belongs. Do not dig it back up to look at it. The soil is not a loss. It is the only place from which the next thing can start.
