Three of Cranes

The Tarot of New York City

You trust results you can verify, and today some may be visible. The Three of Cranes shows the deliveries rolling in. Study what is working and why, then put your energy behind the strongest part of it.

Tarot: Today

A man in a suit stands with his back to us on the roof of his own construction site. Three cranes frame the view, a half-built tower shows its open floors, and brightly coloured delivery trucks turn in from both sides for the second project. The Three of Cranes is the moment after the first effort, when results start arriving. Today is better for surveying than for hammering. Look at what is already working, then sketch the next stage on paper. A call to a possible partner may be worth making. The trucks are coming; where you send them is still your decision.

Ten of Wands

Tomorrow

Thursday, October 29

Ten of Wands

Control is hard to let go of, even when the bundle is crushing. Reversed, the Ten of Wands asks you to release some of it today. Trust one person with one wand and watch what they do with it.

 Nine of Brushes

This week

Week of Monday, October 26

Nine of Brushes

You tend to imagine the worst in vivid detail. The Nine of Brushes reminds you this week that the shadows on the wall are cast by your own brushes. Move the candle and look again.

 Judgement

Next week

Week of Monday, November 2

Judgement

Transformation is familiar ground for you. Judgement asks you to step fully into the next version of yourself this week. Bring the hard years with you as foundation, not as weight.

 Three of Swords

This month

October 2026

Three of Swords

Forgiveness looks like surrender to you and it is not. Reversed, the Three of Swords is about setting down something that is only heavy for you now. The other person stopped carrying it long ago. That is exactly why you can put it down.

 Six of Wands

This year

2026

Six of Wands

Visibility is exposure and you will want to step back out of the light quickly. Stay in it a little longer than is comfortable. Being seen for genuine work is not the same as being watched, and this year the difference is worth learning.

Choose an oracle

Each one is read a different way. The tarot draws, the Chinese zodiac calculates.

Runes

Fehu

Money is the strife of kinsmen in the Icelandic poem. Whatever is shared today should be settled in the open rather than assumed.

I Ching

Difficulty at the Beginning

Difficulty at the start is your natural habitat and you will do it alone. The text is explicit about helpers. Ask somebody.

Numerology

Number 3

Saying it costs you more than thinking it, and today the saying is the whole point. Pick one thing you have been holding and tell one person. None of the rest of your privacy is at stake.

Western zodiac

An awkward angle. Something is hidden and will not be uncovered today by pressing. Adjustment without resolution is the whole shape of it.
