Three of Cranes

The Tarot of New York City

Ideas for the next venture may come faster than you can write them down. The Three of Cranes asks you to choose one direction from the roof today. A partner who sees the site differently could sharpen it.

Tarot: Today

A man in a suit stands with his back to us on the roof of his own construction site. Three cranes frame the view, a half-built tower shows its open floors, and brightly coloured delivery trucks turn in from both sides for the second project. The Three of Cranes is the moment after the first effort, when results start arriving. Today is better for surveying than for hammering. Look at what is already working, then sketch the next stage on paper. A call to a possible partner may be worth making. The trucks are coming; where you send them is still your decision.

Ten of Wands

Tomorrow

Thursday, October 29

Ten of Wands

Too many commitments may be pulling you in different directions. Reversed, the Ten of Wands invites you to cancel one or two today. Say no clearly, and keep your yes for what you still mean.

 Nine of Brushes

This week

Week of Monday, October 26

Nine of Brushes

Your mind can write a whole story from a single unanswered message. The Nine of Brushes asks you to stop drafting this week. Ask the plain question and wait for the real reply.

 Judgement

Next week

Week of Monday, November 2

Judgement

A name from your past may reappear this week, in a message or on a crowded platform. Judgement favours a real conversation over a quick catch-up. Let them see who you have become.

 Three of Swords

This month

October 2026

Three of Swords

You have talked around this rather than through it, and the analysis has been a way of not feeling it. Reversed, this card asks for the plainer version. One honest conversation, or one honest hour alone, does more than another month of framing.

 Six of Wands

This year

2026

Six of Wands

Recognition arrives for one specific thing among the many you do, and you will want to explain the others. Do not. Let this be the thing you are known for this year. Being legible to people is worth more than being fully described.

Choose an oracle

Each one is read a different way. The tarot draws, the Chinese zodiac calculates.

Runes

Fehu

Movable wealth means it can move away from you. Check what has quietly left while you were interested in something else.

I Ching

Difficulty at the Beginning

The awkwardness now is structural rather than a sign you chose wrongly. Do not launch. Gather people, and accept that the interesting phase is some distance off.

Numerology

Number 3

Your number and your weather. Everything connects and none of it finishes. Write down the two ideas that actually surprised you, because by evening you will remember only that there were some.

Western zodiac

The driver is in your own sign and everything speeds up, talk included. Say the useful thing before the day fills with the rest.
