Three of Cranes

The Tarot of New York City

Expanding beyond your own block can feel exposing. The Three of Cranes points out that the first building already stands and has tenants. Let that evidence steady you today while you plan the next step out.

Tarot: Today

A man in a suit stands with his back to us on the roof of his own construction site. Three cranes frame the view, a half-built tower shows its open floors, and brightly coloured delivery trucks turn in from both sides for the second project. The Three of Cranes is the moment after the first effort, when results start arriving. Today is better for surveying than for hammering. Look at what is already working, then sketch the next stage on paper. A call to a possible partner may be worth making. The trucks are coming; where you send them is still your decision.

Ten of Wands

Tomorrow

Thursday, October 29

Ten of Wands

You often carry other people's worries along with your own. Reversed, the Ten of Wands asks you to set theirs down for a while today. If guilt follows, look at it honestly: rest is not abandonment.

 Nine of Brushes

This week

Week of Monday, October 26

Nine of Brushes

Worry in the small hours may hit you harder this week. The Nine of Brushes suggests talking it through with someone close. Fears said aloud usually shrink.

 Judgement

Next week

Week of Monday, November 2

Judgement

Reunions touch you deeply, and Judgement may bring one this week. Meet the person or the memory with an open heart. Forgiveness, including towards yourself, sits at the centre of this card.

 Three of Swords

This month

October 2026

Three of Swords

This is the month the ache loosens. You will notice it first in your sleep rather than in your thinking. Reversed, the Three of Swords asks you to accept help, including the unceremonious kind, and to stop rehearsing the injury to keep it accurate.

 Six of Wands

This year

2026

Six of Wands

You will deflect the credit toward everyone who helped, and some of that is true and some is a way of not being looked at. Accept your part out loud once this year. It costs the team nothing and it matters more than you think.

Choose an oracle

Each one is read a different way. The tarot draws, the Chinese zodiac calculates.

Runes

Fehu

Fehu is the household's livestock: what feeds people rather than what impresses them. Look at what your resources are actually keeping alive.

I Ching

Difficulty at the Beginning

A hard beginning and you will read it as a warning to withdraw. It is not. Stay, appoint helpers, and let the difficulty be difficulty rather than a verdict.

Numerology

Number 3

Say the warm thing out loud. A 3 rewards the expressed version over the felt one, and you spend most days assuming people can tell. Today they can only tell if you say it.

Western zodiac

One sign along. Something close to home needs a small adjustment rather than a decision. Small corrections are cheap now and expensive later.
