Three of Cranes

The Tarot of New York City

Your picture of the future may run well ahead of everyone else's. The Three of Cranes asks you to share it today with someone who can help build it. No one tops out a tower alone.

Tarot: Today

A man in a suit stands with his back to us on the roof of his own construction site. Three cranes frame the view, a half-built tower shows its open floors, and brightly coloured delivery trucks turn in from both sides for the second project. The Three of Cranes is the moment after the first effort, when results start arriving. Today is better for surveying than for hammering. Look at what is already working, then sketch the next stage on paper. A call to a possible partner may be worth making. The trucks are coming; where you send them is still your decision.

Ten of Wands

Tomorrow

Thursday, October 29

Ten of Wands

You may be tempted to walk away from a burden altogether. Reversed, the Ten of Wands asks which part is truly yours. Hand on what belongs to others today, and keep the part you agreed to carry.

 Nine of Brushes

This week

Week of Monday, October 26

Nine of Brushes

Overthinking may keep you up this week. The Nine of Brushes asks you to step out of your head and into the facts. Check what is true before you plan for what is not.

 Judgement

Next week

Week of Monday, November 2

Judgement

Community matters to you, and Judgement shows the whole block rising together. Turn up this week when people gather. Your presence may matter more to them than you realise.

 Three of Swords

This month

October 2026

Three of Swords

You have intellectualised the injury into a general observation about people. Reversed, this card returns it to the specific. It was one person and it hurt. Letting it be personal is what allows it to finish.

 Six of Wands

This year

2026

Six of Wands

You will be uncomfortable being singled out from the group and may genuinely prefer the collective version. Accept it anyway. Refusing recognition on principle teaches everyone around you to undervalue the work, including the people who did it with you.

Choose an oracle

Each one is read a different way. The tarot draws, the Chinese zodiac calculates.

Runes

Fehu

Fehu is property and you find property faintly beside the point. It still needs tending, and today the tending falls to you.

I Ching

Difficulty at the Beginning

You will redesign the approach rather than accepting that beginnings are simply hard. Appoint helpers and start on the difficult version.

Numerology

Number 3

Ideas connect easily today, which is your terrain, and the risk is that you explain the system rather than the point. Lead with what changes for the listener.

Western zodiac

The flowing angle. The system and the situation agree, so build the thing you have been describing. Ease is not the same as significance; aim it.
