Elder Futhark

Eihwaz is the yew, rough outside, hard and fast in the earth, the poem says, guardian of fire and a joy on the estate. The tree lives for centuries and every part of it is poison. The rune is endurance with something lethal in it, and the axis between what is above and below. Today, stand. Whatever is pushing, your job is to be the thing that does not move, roots down, and the poison is the part of you that is not available for negotiation. Endurance is not passivity here. It is a defended position.
