nGéadal is killing, the kennings say, the beginning of slaying and the raiment of physicians: harm, and the economy that grows around it. Over a week the letter is about the second half. Something was cut, this week or before it, and the week's work is the dressing rather than the wound. Be the physician. Look at what was actually injured, name it exactly, bind it without theatre, and check it each day rather than once. The week is not about who held the blade. It is about whether, by Sunday, the cut is on its way to being a scar or has been left open for the story.
