Nauðr is a condition you are held in, with the exits already closed. This week the constraint is real and arguing with it will consume the week. The Icelandic poem calls it the hard choice, and the hard choice is the point: when the options are narrowed to two, you find out what you actually prefer. Work inside the limit rather than around it. Something gets decided this week that a wider set of options would have let you defer for another year, which is the rune's rough kindness.
