Elder Futhark

Eihwaz is the yew: long-lived, poisonous, and the axis between what is above and what is below. This week asks for endurance of a specific kind, the sort that involves standing in something unpleasant rather than escaping it. There is toxicity in the situation and you can survive proximity to it if you are deliberate. The yew does not fight what surrounds it and does not absorb it either. Hold your position, keep your roots in your own ground, and let the week be long rather than dramatic.
