Darkening of the Light

Hexagram 36 is the sun gone below the earth: a time when brightness is unwelcome and being seen clearly is a liability. In hardship, the classic says, it rewards holding to the course. Keep your own light burning inwardly today and do not display it. This is not defeat, it is weather, and the counsel is to endure it without becoming what surrounds you.
