I Ching: October 2026

One of the sixty-four hexagrams

Today Tomorrow This week Next week This month This year See every past reading

Inner Truth

Hexagram 61 is sincerity that reaches even pigs and fishes, the least reachable creatures in the classic's imagination. October is about whether what you say matches what is actually inside, and the text is clear that this kind of truth is what makes the difficult crossing possible. The month rewards holding to the course. Practically that means the influence available to you now comes from consistency rather than from argument. Where you are genuinely aligned, things will move that you did not expect to move. Where you are performing an alignment you do not feel, this hexagram is unusually unforgiving and people will sense the gap without being able to name it.

For your star sign

The same reading, taken through each sign of the zodiac.

Aries

Sincerity that reaches even pigs and fishes. What you say has to match what is inside for the crossing to be possible, and the text rewards holding to the course.

Taurus

Consistency is your instrument and this hexagram is built from it. Where you are genuinely aligned, things move that you did not expect to move.

Gemini

Your influence today comes from consistency rather than from argument, which is the harder instrument for you. Say less and mean all of it.

Cancer

Inner truth is your native ground. The caution is that sincerity is not the same as disclosure; you can be wholly aligned and still choose what to say.

Leo

People will sense the gap between the performance and the feeling without being able to name it. Close the gap rather than improving the performance.

Virgo

You will check your own sincerity until it becomes doubt. The hexagram asks for alignment rather than for an audit of it.

Libra

You will present the version each person needs and the versions will meet. Inner truth is the one account you can give everywhere.

Scorpio

You are aligned and rarely say so. The text says the crossing becomes possible through it. Let some of it be visible.

Sagittarius

You are sincere and imprecise, which the text does not mind. Say the true thing today even if the framing is rough.

Capricorn

You will act correctly whether or not you feel it, which is duty rather than inner truth. The hexagram asks for the feeling to match.

Aquarius

You will hold the principle and forget the person in front of you. Sincerity here is personal rather than systemic.

Pisces

This is your hexagram entirely. Where you are genuinely aligned things move. Where you are performing alignment, this one is unforgiving.

For your Chinese animal

The same reading, taken through each animal of the Chinese zodiac.

Rat

Sincerity that reaches pigs and fishes. What you say has to match what is inside, and your instinct is to hold some back.

Ox

Consistency is your instrument and this hexagram is built from it. Where you are aligned, things move unexpectedly.

Tiger

Your influence comes from consistency rather than argument today, which is the harder instrument for you. Move once, deliberately, and then stop pushing.

Rabbit

Inner truth is your native ground. The caution is that sincerity is not disclosure; you may still choose what to say.

Dragon

People sense the gap between the performance and the feeling without naming it. Close the gap rather than improving the performance.

Snake

You will audit your own sincerity until it becomes doubt. The hexagram asks for alignment, not an inspection of it.

Horse

You are sincere and imprecise, which the text does not mind. Say the true thing even if the framing is rough.

Goat

This is your hexagram. Where you are genuinely aligned things move; where you are performing it, this one is unforgiving.
