Difficulty at the Beginning

Hexagram 3 is the blade of grass pushing through hard ground: a beginning that is genuinely difficult rather than merely slow. The classic says do not set out anywhere today, and does say to appoint helpers. That is the whole advice. Stay where you are, get support in place, and accept that the awkwardness now is structural rather than a sign you chose wrongly.
